Like we say at The Private Market, “your business is none of our business.” We believe business transactions should be between two parties without being monitored and restricted by a website that’s just looking to take their 10% of the deal. Anonymity guarantees that the two parties involved can make a business transaction privately and under the conditions they agree to, not some website’s arbitrary rules. Here, you have the freedom and privacy to negotiate your own transaction.

The old-fashioned way: By one person paying the other person. Use cash, payment apps, bartering or even cowry shells. Unlike some websites, we are not a middleman handling payments between the two parties. Those websites only do that to take a cut of each payment. We don’t do that here. We let you handle payments directly.

Most users of The Private Market are trustworthy people. However, when first meeting any user, remember these tips:
